A variety of programs are available for non-regular students, including programs for students from partner universities and programs for students from other universities.
Institute of Science Tokyo (Science Tokyo) also offers various learning opportunities such as those for research students and non-degree students.This page introduces the non-degree programs offered by the School of Medicine and Dentistry and the School of Science and Engineering, respectively.

The School of Science and Engineering

The School of Science and Engineering provides several programs for partner universities with tuition waiver agreement. The Young Science and Engineering Researchers Program (YSEP) is a research-oriented program and the Academic Course Access Program ( ACAP) is a course oriented program. We also provide summer programs, winter programs within one month respectively, as well as short-term programs of several months organized by the departments. For international students from non-partner institutions, we offer a program to accept them as International Visiting Students for a period of one year or less. Graduate Research Student are for individuals wishing to conduct research at one of the Institute’s laboratories under the guidance of a faculty member. International Exchange and Visiting Student Programs

This page is intended for international students who are interested in visiting the School of Medicine and Dentistry for a short period (six months or less). We mainly offer two- to four-week clinical rotations at our university hospital. Please note that students must apply through the relevant coordinating office of their home institution.
