Research and study When 1+1>2
Institute of Science Tokyo seeks to create new science through the convergence of science and engineering, medicine, dentistry, nursing — its collective strengths — and philosophy, psychology, social sciences, and other liberal arts. This approach will allow us to discover yet unknown issues and solve societal problems not merely through addition (1+1=2), but rather through the creation of new academic fields kindled by convergence (1+1>2).
