M&D Tower
The M&D Tower, standing 26 stories tall, houses a diverse range of research labs, experimental labs, lecture rooms, and other research and educational facilities. It also features a library and the Akio Suzuki Memorial Hall, which has a seating capacity of 500. At night, the Science Tokyo logo illuminates the top of the tower, serving as a proud symbol of Yushima Campus.
Building C (Advanced medical center)
Opened in 2023, this facility is the heart of the hospital’s advanced care, featuring the Trauma and Acute Critical Care Medical Center and Intensive Care Unit. It is equipped to provide essential medical services even during major disasters. Additionally, the campus is directly connected to the Tokyo Metro’s Ochanomizu Station, ensuring smooth access for students and visitors.
Garden of Knowledge and Healing
The rooftop garden above Parking Lot 1 is designed with greenery shaped like plum blossoms, offering a peaceful retreat with seasonal flowers such as pansies. It is a favorite spot for students, faculty, and hospital visitors to relax and recharge.
Helipad
The helipad on the rooftop of Hospital Building A boasts one of the most renowned operational systems in Tokyo. The facility is equipped with nighttime lighting to accommodate patients transported by helicopter, allowing for 24-hour availability. It is capable of receiving medical helicopters with a total weight of up to 11 tons.
