Medical and Dental Sciences 360° VR campus tour

As on-site tours and self-guided visits are not available for the Medical and Dental Sciences (Yushima, Surugadai, and Konodai campuses), prospective students can experience the facilities and research environment online.

Self-guided visits

Common areas of the campus are open for self-guided exploration. Please note that access to buildings and facilities is limited.

  • Suzukakedai Campus will change its name to “Yokohama Campus” on April 1, 2026.

Basic rules for visits

  1. No application is required for groups of 10 people or fewer. For groups of 11 or more, please refer to the "Application process" section below.
  2. Access by private vehicle or chartered bus is prohibited. Passenger pick-up or drop-off at the Main Gate is also not permitted. Please use public transportation.
  3. To ensure safety, each group is limited to a maximum of 50 visitors per day.
  4. Visits may be restricted during university events, exam periods, ceremonies, or entrance examinations. See Lectures, courses, and degrees.
  5. Reservation or use of lecture rooms is not permitted.
  6. Entry to the library is not allowed.
  7. The Museum and Archives (Centennial Hall) can be visited on weekdays from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Access is limited to floors B1F to 2F). Guided tours (for less than 30 people, reservation required) are also conducted on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For details, please contact the Museum office (museum@adm.isct.ac.jp). For groups of 30 or more, please inquire with the Museum office for availability.
  8. Operating hours for student cafeterias and shops are available on the Institute of Science Tokyo Tsubame Co-op website (Japanese) .

Important notes

  1. Please keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb classes or research.
  2. Please do not touch the exhibits unless specifically permitted.
  3. Please refrain from taking photographs in areas with "No Photography" signs.
  4. Guided tours and guide referrals are not provided on campus. The Institute does not request payment for campus guidance.
  5. The Institute assumes no responsibility for any accidents or incidents during the visit.

Application process

Groups of 11 or more: Please apply via the application form at least one week before the preferred date.

Groups of 30 or more (if using the cafeteria or museum): Please apply at least two weeks prior to the visit.

Notification regarding the acceptance of the application will be sent at a later date. Please note that some requests may not be accommodated.
